PDPU has been established by GERMI as a Private University through the State Act. All the members of teaching staff and lab assistant are very cooperative and helpful. Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University is a good college. There is every type facilities like for study library, classroom, faculties are excellent, for enjoyment 3 grounds for every sports activity, music and dance room also, nightlife is also too much good because you feel you are coming in foreign countries. There is one auditorium is also too good.

Placement opportunities are good there. Last year most of the eligible students of petroleum downstream were placed. This year till now 8 students out of 52 from petroleum downstream are placed and other companies are yet to visit the campus.
