About College
CEPT University, Ahemdabad takes its name from the “Center for Environmental Planning and Technology”. The Government of Gujarat incorporated CEPT as a university in 2005. CPET was established with the inception of School of Architecture through grant-in-aid from Government of Gujarat.

Boys hostel consist of two blocks. At present each block has facilities like daily Newspaper, telephone, common room with T.V sets, equipment for gymnasium in one block and a common canteen. |

IT Services |
A group of information technology professionals along with faculty members are responsible for developing a vision for CEPT University’s IT infrastructure and for deepening the use of information and communications technology in teaching, research and all other activities of the University. |

Festivals-
- Root- It is the annual academic-cultural festival, where Captains showcase their creativity, spontaneity, talent, taste and thirst for knowledge. It is a four days event.
- Smart City Challenge- M.Plan. 2nd Year students from CEPT University have presented CEPT University in Asia's Largest Science and Technology Festival (IIT Bombay Tech Fest) called the “Smart City Challenge”.
Scholarships-
Scholarship for Faculty of Planning-

Student Aid (Tuition Fees Loan Scholarship Scheme) |
The Scheme is applicable to students whose household income is below Rs. 7.5 lakh and the students should not have received any financial help from any other source. |

Program Scholarship |
This will be 50 per cent of the annual fees. The Scheme is applicable to students whose household income is below Rs. 4.5 lakh and the students should have not received any financial help from any other source and academic score above 65 per cent in the previous semester exam. |

School of Planning Alumni Association (SPAA) Scholarship |
This will be 50% of the annual. The Scheme is applicable to students whose household income is below Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum and the students should have not received any financial help from any other source. |

It is one of the best place to learn Civil planning. Faculties are very good there. College provides you an opportunity to work in some of the best projects. Infrastructure is also very good. Placements in this institute is pretty good.

What is the admission criteria for CEPT University courses ?

Admission criteria for 1) B.E (Construction Technology) - 10+2 or Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subject and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology as the optional subject and also the English language from the CBSE or from any other equivalent recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. 2) M.Tech - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology or Architecture or Environmental Engineering obtained through the 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification from the recognised University or equivalent to it with 55% marks. Note - All SC, ST candidates are eligible for the relaxation of 5% for above courses.

College internship experience was a great learning. I was involved as a site execution engineer. No stipend was offered as per the college policies and regulations. Huge construction and infrastructure groups came for the internship.
