The Maharishi University of Management and Technology is one of the leading institutes of the country in providing excellent technical and management education. It is also known for its brilliance in providing quality research facility for the students.

• The university was set up by a special act passed in the name of Maharishi University of Management and Technology act no. 10 of 2002. This act was passed by the Legislature of Chhattisgarh State.
• The university provides best education facility and its Degree/Diploma/Certificate is equivalent to Degrees/Diplomas and Certificate of other Universities in India which are set up under statutory provisions of central and the state government.
• But, the curriculum of the university is not similar like other institutes. It was established under the visionary Maharishi Ji's global education movement. Maharishi Ji has carried out this program worldwide.
• Maharishi Ji has initiated for a dynamic and scientifically validated course curriculum for the education system not only for India but also for the all across the globe. The courses here are not only "job oriented', but these are "life oriented-life supporting" also.
• The university is providing the most updated course curriculum for Technical and Management Studies. It implements various ideas in its course structure to make it a knowledge based program.
• The university has two basic principles. The main principle of management is "prevention oriented-problem free administration". On the other hand, the prime principle in technology is "do lees accomplish more".
• The university also provides distance education facility for its students. There are two fold approach adopted by the university while providing distance education. Students may go for self-study at their convenience. They may have a close interaction with faculty members just like the other conventional courses offered by the university.

Faculty

The University has five different faculties. The university has introduced all these faculties to provide quality technological and management education to the students. The university offers best quality academic program by its group of experts. The university plans, develops, organizes, and implements and controls all these verticals in order to provide of academic excellence and quality research facility. The main objective of such programmes is to provide a wider level of realization to its students.
