Admissions: The admissions in Undergraduate courses of agriculture will be done on the basis of a merit list provided by the Chhattisgarh Professional Exam Board of the state government. The Board conducts a Pre Agricultural Test (PAT) for B.Sc. (Agri) and B.Sc. (hort) courses, Pre Engineering Test (PET) for Agricultural Engineering.

Admission criteria for different courses are. 1) B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) - Candidatte Should be 10+2 or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biotechnology, Language and any other subject with a minimum of 45% marks. 2) M.Tech - Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering discipline obtained through the 10+2+4 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 55% or equivalent from the recognized Universities. 3) MBA (Agri Business) - Bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent from the recognized Universities. Note - A Relaxation of 5% aggregate is there for SC, ST candidates for above courses.
