Entrance Exam & Admissions
The Admissions in Dr CV Raman University were confirmed on the basis of entrance exams such as AIEEE and AJEE. Candidates need to acquire a minimum of 60% marks to get the admission and a minimum of 55% marks for BBA Courses. After the entrance exam, a counseling session is conducted and admissions are confirmed.

The university has tie-ups with various big brands, Industries and MNCs such as BSNL, NTPC etc, as their placement partners, providing best placement and internships to students. The placement was offered for the core field of the domain and to much of the student's interest.
Fees & Scholarships
The fees can be submitted through Demand Drafts, Cash and Cheque, but they mostly preferred demand drafts. Also, this university has connections with may Indian banks for easy loan availability for students who are not financially sound. Scholarships are also available for meritorious students based on their academic performance and personal interview.
Academics & Faculty
There was complete strictness on the regularity in classes. Maximum 75% attendance is required otherwise you are not allowed to write the exams. The faculty at the university are inclined towards practical learning, to gain maximum knowledge through practicals. The Faculty here is very motivating and offers free professional guidance to students throughout the course duration.
College Infrastructure
The infrastructure at Dr CV Raman University is very vast. Various facilities included here are WiFi connection (with 3g and 4g towers for high-speed internet), practical labs laced with the latest equipment, sports facilities (both indoor and outdoor), Gym, Canteen, Library etc.
Food Services & Hostel
The food served in Canteen and Mess is always hygienic and fresh, without compromising with the taste buds of the students. The mess is very hygienic. The hostel rooms are very clean, spacious and fully furnished.

C.V Raman university offers scholarships for all the merit students based on their performance in PI and for those whose financial condition is not stable. Freeships or free education is provided to those who secured 85% marks or above exams like SSC/HSC. Special concession is always provided to students who hails from economically backward communities.
Academics & Faculty
The university offers various UG, PG, doctoral and diploma/certificate courses with various specializations. The teaching faculties are trained and very well qualified. They give more emphasis on the practical training and knowledge, which proves fruitful for interviews and future. Apart from this, they provide industrial visits and guest lecturers & speakers for additional business and industry knowledge.

The Food served in hostel mess and Canteen is always fresh and hygienic, without compromising with the taste buds of students. I happen to visit hostel rooms once and found them quite decent and clean. Security is always alert at both boys and girls hostel.
