About College
Demow College, a co-educational institute was established in 1970 to facilitate need-based higher education for the students of Demow and its surrounding regions. The college is well-furnished with the necessary facilities within a spacious and picturesque campus. The college offers undergraduate courses in Arts. The college also conducts higher secondary course in Arts subjects. Together with computer education and communicative skills, the college facilitates career-oriented programs in distance mode of education.

Extracurricular Activities
- National Cadet Corps (NCC): The NCC wing of the college consists of 105 cadets. The NCC wing of the college is trained to develop the philosophy of obligation towards the society and arouses the students to meet the challenges through various activities
- National Services Scheme (NSS): The NSS wing of the college consists of 150 students. The college under the NSS wing organizes various programmes related to social service like plantation of saving of economic and aesthetic importance in and around the campus and relief drive to flood affected areas
Library
- The college has a well-equipped library with a good collection of books on various subjects aimed at helping the students for promoting their knowledge
- Apart from periodicals, journals, magazines, there are more than 10, 200 text books and reference books and scholarly journals available
