Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi is one of the best arts and science colleges in the state. The school is under the aegis of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The college offers School offers four Post Graduate, four Under Graduate and one Integrated program in various field

• Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi functions as a regular college in the Kochi Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and is approved by UGC and Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. As per statutory norms MCA course is approved by the AICTE also

Extra-Curricular:

Kalamritam- It is a cultural fiesta. Students have participated in the South Zone Inter University Youth Fesival and won prizes

Samskriti- It is a cultural group of 200 people and  learn self- help activities like recycling waste, doll making, fancy item making, stiching and embroidery etc. Money they received from these products are being used purely for helping the orphan children at Amma’s Tribal Orphanage at Parippaly, Matruchaya and visit other places like Goshala, Cancer centres, Pain and Palliative Care Centres etc.

Kayikamritam- It is an annual sports day in which Cricket, Badminton, Chess, Caroms, Throw Ball, Race, Sack Race etc. are organised 

Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM)- Practice of yoga & meditation-Every year the new students and staff members are imparted to Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM) Technique. The classes are taken by a team of five staff members along with the Director who had taken an intensive Two Day Instructors Training Camp at Amritapuri

SPIC MACAY Activities- Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) conducts Kathakali, Saraswati Veena and Manipuri Dance

Facilities:

Library- The college has world class library and rich collections of books. Visual Media department has a separate media library for Books, Journals and more than 500 World Film classics. There is access to the Amrita Digital e-Learning Library and to international research journals of IEEE, ProQuest, etc. 2000 GB information on literature, class notes, slides, speeches, interviews, text books and research materials from all renowned universities and organizations is available.

ICT- The college has over 300 desktop systems are networked over fast Ethernet and Wireless LAN using switches and routers and Multiple Dedicated Leased line access with internet-bandwidth of 15 Mbps and 20 VPN dedicated lines. There is Cloud Computing with Blade Servers, Storage Servers, Firewall and Manageable Switches.
