Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (formerly known as Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University), Hyderabad was formally inaugurated on March 20, 1965 by Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri (Hon. Prime Minister of India). The University was renamed after Acharya N.G. Ranga (Parliamentarian & Freedom Fighter) on November 7, 1996. It is a state university and largest in India in terms of area.

Eligibility Criteria - You should have passed in two year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with any two of the following subjects namely Mathematics or Biological or Natural Sciences and Physical Science.
