PET Engineering College, Thanjavur was established by Popular Educational Trust in September 28, 1998. The trust came into existence in 1996 and is completely devoted to imparting world class technical education to youth of the country. It is situated at a 57 acre area on Vallioor – Tiruchendur Highway, 3 Km from the town of Vallioor. Its nearest Railway station Vallioor is 3km away.
