MES Abasaheb Garware College, Pune was established by Maharashtra Education Society under the Societies Registration Act XXI 1860 and Bombay Public Trust 1950. It has twenty-five Departments across the Science and Arts Faculties, offering more than 30 different academic programmes, including self-financed and autonomous courses. Abasaheb Garware College is the only Science and Arts College of the Maharashtra Education Society.

• AGC hostel - students in any of the institution in M.E.Society is eligible for hostel admission. The hostel has mess, washrooms, bathrooms, and all time electricity facility
• Internal Quality Assurance Cell- IQAC has been formulated for monitoring the quality parameters in College based on the recommendations given by National Assessment Accreditation Committee (NAAC). IQAC reviews and develops a system of conscious, regular and catalytic action to improve the teaching learning process, administrative performance, the evaluation procedure and the quality improvement of students as well as the teachers..
