About College
The Smt S.R Mehta Arts College was established in the year 1963 as Navgujarat Arts and Commerce College, which was renamed after a famous philanthropist in the year 1995. It is an aided College established with the aim of providing the best possible higher education in various art subjects to the local population living in and around Ahmedabad. It is affiliated with the prestigious Gujarat University and has been accredited with B certificate by NAAC. It has a beautiful and spacious campus in adherence to its purpose of providing the students with an environment which has the adequate blend of playing and learning facilities to ensure an all round development of each and every student stepping through the gates of the college. The college aims at providing education to the students irrespective of their caste, creed and religion and hence, they help the students from weaker sections of the society to compete at the same level as that of the high society students.
