DD Thakar Arts and KJ Patel Commerce College was established in 1987 and it is affiliated to Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan. With their sincere and tremendous efforts the institution came into being which a Gujarati Medium. The institute offers courses in Art and Commerce It is accredited by NAAC with B Grade.

• National Service Scheme (NSS): The college rams 2 unit of NSS.Under this scheme various activities like a Lacture, Tree - Platations, Cleantinem move, street plays for awarness, and Residentials campus are done

Magazine: The College also prepares Wall paper Magazine named. "Spodam" students take part in all activities like Recitats, essay writing, elocation competitions, quiz competitions, etc.
