Shri Saraswati Shikshan Mahavidhyalay is located in the district of Mehsana in Gujarat. Established in 2004, it is managed by the Lok Kalyan Trust and is affiliated to the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in Patan. It offers a full-time one-year course in B.ED. Elective subjects include Information and Technology, Statistics and Vocational Guidance. It is set in a green and peaceful area away from the industries, roads, and bazaar and provides an ideal learning environment. The aim of the Institute is to promote higher education and literacy among all the sections of society. In an attempt to reach out to all the sections of society and improve their socio-economic condition, it provides vocational opportunities through guidance and counseling. It aspires to instill patriotism and respect for Indian Culture. It advocates professional practice for the teacher trainees to make them competent and employable. Teacher Trainees are encouraged to promote social and cultural values such as self-reliance, hard work, and co-operation.
