Established in the year 1967, Sir Sayyed College of Arts Commerce and Science- [SSC], Aurangabad, Maharashtra is expanding its roots under the guidance of the founder president of Rehbar Educational, Cultural and Welfare Society, Aurangabad, Prof. Mohd Tilawat Ali. The college believes that just imparting formal knowledge is not enough. It is necessary that students also develop humane and scientific outlook and realize their sense of responsibility towards the society. Further, the college has always remained active in promoting the education of women. Without the same, it is quite difficult to uplift this section of the society. When the women of the society are educated, then it becomes easy for them to understand the importance of tolerance, mutual trust and co-existence. Since its inception, all the efforts of the college are directed towards education of the largest minority i.e. women, who form the minority of the society. This would contribute to the peace and progress of the country.

What is the Eligibility of Admission?
For admission to first year BA, candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent to HSC or D.Ed, exam with English as a Compulsory subject of 100 marks or Diploma in technical education conducted by Board of Technical Education with not less than 50%. Only those students who have previously studied Arabic at junior level will be allowed to take Arabic as Optional subject or as second language at BA first year course.
