About College

The Shyam Lal College (Evening) was started running from 08th September, 1969.It is one of the leading constituent colleges of Delhi University. The college offers quality and valuable education in Commerce and Humanities Streams. The college has produced thousands of graduates since its establishment. To pursuits education in a most comfortable manner the college provides international standard facilities and well-equipped infrastructure. Students who done their Bachelor Degree from the college are serving high profession in corporate industry and teaching filed.

The college has a strong faculty and offering Bachelor Degree courses in following subjects Commerce, Economics, English, Hindi and Political Science. Departments of college that are perfect to give meaningful education are –

The college offers variety of extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

•    N.C.C. - The College provides training for National Cadet Corps (N.C.C.). Boys and Girls of the college can take the training. The N.C.C. has three different wings namely Air, Navy and Army. Aarohi is the annual function celebrated by the team of N.C.C.
•    N.S.S. –To make students all round development the college also has National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) facility. The N.S.S. organizes various activities namely Yoga, Traffic Control Camps and Poster Making periodically.
