DAV College for Women, Ferozepur was established in 1969 and it is affiliated to Panjab University. This college is situated in healthy and verdant surroundings on Railway road, Ferozepur Cantt. The College is managed by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The College is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. Under the approval of NCTE, the college offers B Ed course and M Ed course, for aspiring teachers. Apart from imparting quality teaching education, the college ensures that their students actively participate in extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure

The College campus is spread over 4.5 acres. The college has 25 class rooms, four Computer Labs, a Home-Science lab, Music Lab, two Psychology labs, a well- stocked library, Women’s Hostel, three well laid-out play grounds and lush green.

Extracurricular Activities

• National Cadet Corps: The College maintains one unit of NCC. The unit is functioning under the command of 5 Punjab Girls Battalion NCC Moga.   
• National Service Scheme: The College has two units of NSS. The NSS Department is activity involved in making the youth aware of national problems.
