Shri Jai Narain PG College, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh was initiated as a humble Anglo – Sanskrit School. The premier institution of the state grew and upgraded to middle school in the year 1918 and later as a high school in the year 1920. It graduated to intermediate college in the year 1923, Degree College in 1946 and finally a full-fledged degree college. At present, it is one of the biggest associated colleges of the Lucknow University. The college has a staff of over 400 members. Late Pt. Deen Dayal Misra offered substantial funding to blossom the college into an example.
