About College
The Nagaland College of Teacher Education is a premier institute of teacher education. It aims to produce teachers who possess academic excellence and at the same time are competent and good human. The college believes in imparting quality education. It also aims at promoting extension services and research. Emphasis is also laid on making them understand the need of the child. Inculcating of leadership qualities is also the objective of the institute. It is located in sprawling campus and has state of the art facilities.

- Practical training: The College provides with practical training to the students, which prepares them for their job. In this context they are sent to the schools of rural areas of the city as well as in the town for better exposure.
- IGNOU Centre: There is also an IGNOU study centre in the institute which executes a two year B. Ed course.
