About College
Christ College, Irinjalakuda was established in 1956. It is a Roman Catholic college run by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate in Irinjalakuda of Thrissur District, Kerala. It is affiliated to University of Calicut. The vision of the college is service of the humanity by developing the potential of individuals and enlightening them through higher education. The mission of the college is to impart quality education rooted in Indian tradition; and adapting values from everywhere.

Extra Curricular Activities
NCC - The NCC unit of the college affords opportunities for military training and social service to university students without imposing on them any obligation for active military service.
NSS - The NSS unit of the college aims at education through community service. It is intended to arouse the social conscience of the student by preparing them to be useful to society.

INSPIRE Scholarship - The scheme offers 10,000 scholarships every year @ Rs.80,000/- each for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in the Natural & Basic sciences.
Dr K. P Kurian Endowment - for the student scoring highest marks in Hindi in B.Sc. II year University examinations.
Prof. M. A John Endowment - for the student scoring highest marks in Economics in B.A. III year University examinations.
Prof. Babu Jacob Memorial Endowments - for the students scoring highest marks in aggregate of B.Sc final year marks and marks of Physical Chemistry papers.
Kochappan Endowment - for the students prizes in Inter Collegiate Quiz competition for Mathematics.
Prof. P. C. Varghese Endowment - awarded to any student studying Sanskrit as Part II who performs significantly in the D-Zone and Inter Zone level cultural competitions.
