About College
Green Wood College of Education, Karnal is established under the management of Jaideep Shiksha Uttam Samiti. The college is for undergraduate-level teacher programmes. The all-round development of the students is taken care of, by the advanced facilities provided in the college. The aim is to impart proper value education to the youth and also to enable the prospective teacher to make sure that he/she got the proper understanding the purpose of education. The college also makes sure that the trainees go through rigorous training where they meet the future challenges in their respective fields. The trainees are also shown how most of the challenges can be solved by the communication skills and use of modern information technology in the schools.
The college was established in 1956, however, the college branch in Karnal was started in 2007, and there was no looking back. The college stands as one of the best teacher training centers not only in the near locality but as the finest in the state of Haryana.
