SS Arts College and TP Science Institute was established in the year 1967 by the efforts of late Shri.Appannagouda Patil. The College is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad. The college was set up with the objective of providing academic excellence to create an environment which generates curiosity of learning, habit of critical thinking and effective communication. The college aims to prepare the students with intellectual, moral and physical outlook that will make them responsible members of the society. It provides courses in Humanities and Science such as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. The college is striving hard to provide quality education and works towards catering the educational needs of rural students of this area in science and humanities.
