About College

The AVCE is the pride of Cape Comorin. It is the most preferred women’s college for teacher training course in Tamil Nadu State. It has affiliation with Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University. They offer Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) as elective courses with many optional subjects from the languages, arts; commerce and science streams. The AVCE conducts various programs in their institution as compulsory, such as English Orientation Program. This is to improve B.Ed students speaking and reading skills, this is an in house program. The Citizenship Training Camp is an outdoor program, which enables a teacher to know about the teacher’s duty, and morals to be maintained by them as teachers. The Intensive Teaching Practice is a compulsory 40-day teaching section of their students in various schools as per the principal’s order. This is a pre teaching real time experience for their students in the course of studying for B.Ed.
