Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VCE), Mysore Established in 1997, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) is one of the premier and prestigious engineering public college in Mysore, Karnataka, India. VVCE is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and hence functions as per their guidelines only through its Board of Governors. Affiliation to college is provided by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum with recognition from Government of Karnataka. Foundation of the VVCE was laid by the VidyaVardhaka Sangha and currently is under the leadership of Dr. B. Sadashive Gowda as Principal who has vast experience in the field on national as well as international level.

Located in Gokulam, a residential suburb, 6 KM north of the city and 4 KM from the city railway station, VVCE College was designed with main preference given to the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering departments. Other courses offered by the college are in Information Science, Electrical and Electronics, Civil Engineering Mechanical, Electronics and Communication and Environmental Engineering. The campus has a large ground to act as a stadium for various sports (like cricket, football) and concert. To provide work in frontier areas of technology opportunity it is equipped with 6 research centers as well. Technical seminars, projects, industry visits, entrepreneurial training, group discussions, etc. are the main part of their cutting edge teaching and learning.
