Saintgits Institute of Management (SIM), Kottayam was established in 2006 under the aegis of Saintgits College of Engineering. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The vision of the institute is to be be recognized as a leading business school with close links to well known universities in other countries and with it’s alumnies placed in globally competitive organizations. The mission of the institute is to nurture students to become creative, confident and effective managers and business leaders of high integrity.

Collaboration

SIM has signed MoU with Duquesne University, Pittsburgh on 21 February, 2013. This agreement leads to exchange of faculty members and promote joint research between faculty members of the institutes and overall improvement of teaching quality
SIM has signed MoU with California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Pasadena, USA in the area of product design for the developing world. This academic partnership has facilitated the SIM students to team up with Caltech students in identifying the needs of the rural consumer in order to design products that are affordable to the consumer

Amphitheatre	The institute has an acoustically designed amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 1000 persons.
Seminar Hall	Fully air conditioned seminar hall with 150 seating capacity.
Classrooms	The institute has air conditioned and wifi enabled, well furnish classrooms equipped with LCD & overhead projectors.
Computer Lab	The institute has 06 laboratories, each has 32 dual core PC’s which are well equipped with latest tools and technologies.
Library	The institute has fully air conditioned library which is spread over an area of 1120 sq. mtrs. - It has the collection of over 4700 volumes of books It subscribes to 159 national and international journals It provide access to over 10000 e-books & e-journals
Hostel	Available for both boys and girls student separately.

Events & Festivals

Simthesis - The annual national level management festival organised by the students and faculty of the institute.

Carnival - The annual managerial fare to foster managerial skills, students had a hands-on experience in time management, financial management and people management.

Student Achievements

Jojo Joseph and Manish Manoj Abraham (2014-16) bagged the third prize and qualified for the finals at the National Level at New Delhi, in the 11th National Competition for Young India (NCYI) (Formerly National Competition for Management Students)
Arun James and Lejo, Nimisha and Sreejith (2013-15) have won the 1st and 2nd prizes respectively, in the Paper presentation competition at Lourde Matha College of Science and Technology, Tvm
Anish, Florence, Sakthi and Sruthi Lobo (2013-15) have won 1st prize in BMT and Arjun and Sreeraj have become finalists of Business Quiz at the management fest at G.Karunakaran Memorial Co-operative College of Management & Technology, Tvm
