About College
R. V. Institute of Management With the purpose of providing quality management education, the RV Institute of Management was started in the 1999-2000 academic year. It is run by Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust, which is spreading the cause of education past 70 years in various disciplines. RVIM is accredited as A grade institute with affiliation approval from AICTE, New Delhi, and Bangalore University respectively.
RVIM institute is located on the CA 17, 36th Cross, 26th Main, 4th T Block of Jayanagar in Bangalore. Classroom of the campus is well equipped with audio-visual facilities, 2 seminar halls with 120 and 180 capacity respectively, computer labs, a digital library stocked with books, periodical, and national international journals, indoor and outdoor sports facilities with bus services for industrial program and off-campus drives and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. It is one of the premier institutes in management education, training, research, and consultancy that provide the Government of Karnataka recognized and Bangalore University affiliated MBA program that is governed by the norms of AICTE.

Center for Excellence in Quality |
In the Process of establishing the Quality Management Systems, the Institute has analyzed all its Processes of significance and their interactions. The processes include Teaching Process, Mentor Process, Evaluation Process, Feedback Process, library Process and Examination Process. A Quality Manual is Designed and kept for reference in the Department, which explains in detail about all these Processes. |

Center for Excellence in Human Resource Management |
The centre aims at conducting group discussions, mock interviews, arrangement for guest lectures, promotes research in the area of HRM and OB, networks with the professional HRD organizations and conducts training programmes in team management, leadership and other critical areas. |

Center for Excellence in Management Development Program (MDP) |
It helps in the Management development programmes for academia and corporate on current topics and issues and invites eminent resource persons from academia and Industry to deliver the course content. |

Center for Excellence in Marketing & Research |
The research center conducted a project for UNITES, the project was undertaken to assess the Wellness Quotient of BPO workers. Ms Satya S Assistant Professor from RVIM, Dr Swathi Ravichandran Assitant professor from Kent State and Dr RK Gopal Head of Department, MBA, RVIM, undertook this project. |

Center for Excellence in Yoga & Meditation |
Yogic practices like asanas, pranayama, meditation and Om chanting increase the circulation of blood to the brain. This helps to calm the mind and enhances concentration skills. |

Center for Indian Culture And Heritage |
A number of programmes like lectures on interdisciplinary areas study circles and workshops are planned. Also some workshops on the application of ancient Indian mathematical concepts and techniques to competitive exams are designed, which would be highly effective and remunerative. |
For Management Quota Seats
Candidates have to appear for Common Entrance Test of KMAT/MAT to be held on separate dates. Prescribed Application Forms of our institute can be obtained at our office on payment of Rs.500/- by cash or Rs.550/- by DD drawn in favour of The Director, RVIM, payable at Bangalore.

For finance section i guess around 2-3 companies. JP Morgan, Coco cola & Fire pro. The above companies name are the cream of the companies which has come rest else where just for the sake of coming they had come. Overall average package, they offered is 3.25- 3.5 lakhs.
