Punjab Institute of Management & Technology (PIMT), Mandi was established in 1997 under Gobindgarh Educational and Social Welfare Trust. It is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
- The vision of the institute is to develop into a systematic leader and pivot for excellence in technical education sector in the state and catalyzing absorption, innovation, diffusion and transfer of high technology for improved productivity, quality of life and empowerment, thereby affecting regional growth.

Graduation and a bachelors degree in any discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA of any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India. 5% relaxation for SC, ST candidates. Admissions are based as per university norms.
