About College

MAEER's, Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) was founded by Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad, along with the collective efforts of many Educationists, Scientists and Social thinkers in the year 1983.

• MIT is among the first in professional education offering academic programs at more than 36 institutions for over 55000 students annually.
• To meet the demands of changing global environment, MIT offers academic programs in Engineering, Medicine, Pharmacy, Management and Insurance in the classroom as well as distance learning mode.
• MITSDE is recognized by Distance Education Council, Govt. of India Distance Education Council provides academic guidelines to promote excellence, encourage use of innovative technologies in the field of distance learning and online system.

Integrated Learning Approach:
MIT School of Distance Education has developed a unique "Distance Education" methodology that combines all three forms of learning: through book, via internet (e-learning and Online Faculty interaction) and CD. 

Course Material:
Comprehensive course material will be provided at the beginning of each semester. The course material has been written and compiled by highly qualified and experienced faculty members.
