JD Women's College, Patna, Bihar, was established in 1971 to foster the cause of education for women in the state of Bihar. The institution has a commanding presence both in the University as well as in the capital of the state. The college while maintaining its exemplary record in University examinations has also emerged as a serious contender in inter University competitions winning large number of prizes.
