About College
The International Institute of Health Management Research, New Delhi is a part of the Society for Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), which was established in the year 1984 under the Societies Registration Act 1958. IIHMR Delhi was established in the year 2008. The main focus of IIHMR is to fulfill the growing needs in health care. It is approved by the (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, and Govt. of India. The IIHMR offers with P.G. Program in health and hospital management (PGDHM) with specializations in Health Management, Hospital Management and Healthcare IT. It also offers with Management Development Programs to the candidates in health sector. The IIHMR has experienced and highly qualified faculty who have expertise in their respective field.

Library of IIHMR is well stocked. It has about 6500 publications of textbooks, reports, theses, case studied etc.( no. of titles – 2748, No. of Volumes – 6024, Special Collection- 2419, WHO Publications -433, IIHMR Publications- 143, Reports & Conference Proceedings -825). It has 100 periodicals, about 311 CD ROMs, 6 newspapers which are published across the globe. The library is connected with DEL NET which gives access to various libraries |

Why to Join International Institute of Health Management Research?
1. Training –
The students of the institute are placed for 8 weeks in various selected Hospitals and Healthcare organizations for the practical exposure in the field and hands on training. The students are evaluated on the basis of their performance during this training period.

The Institute focuses on health system & health care research. The institute considers research as important aspect as the academic program brings visibility and quality research brings credibility to Institute. The Institute has entered into the policy research& development to large extent, influencing the policy making at the state & central government levels.
