Goa Institute of Management, approved by the All India Council of Technical Education of the Government of India (AICTE), offers postgraduate courses in management at MBA level.

• Though, the course which is being offered is PGDM, it is as equivalent as an MBA degree, as mentioned by AIU (Association of Indian Universities).
• This management institute is among the best 20 B Schools in India as per a recent survey conducted by Outlook India.

IT Infrastructure:

• This college has one of the best IT infrastructures among various best B Schools.

Main Library:

• A huge collection of over 7175 titles, accompanied with a subscription to around 165 Indian and international journals.

Hostel: The presence of hostels inside the campus, very near to the classrooms, makes this college a fully residential place to live for the students. Including all the facilities which are needed the hostels are very good.

• Ms. Roweena Barreto, a student of the PGDM, receives Goa Management Association - Best Management Student Award 08.

Scholarships: For every new session GIM announces some scholarships for its students. They are as followed.

GIM Academic Excellence Scholarship Scheme

• This scholarship is meant for students who excel in the selection procedure of the college.
• Up to 20 scholarships of Rs. 6 lakhs and up to 25 scholarships of Rs. 4 lakhs.

Early Bird fee Concession

• Students who are offered admission to PGDM program in the first merit list are entitled for this scholarship of Rs. 60,000.
• There is a condition for availing this scholarship which states that the student has to pay a confirmation amount of Rs. 15000.

Merit Scholarship

• This scholarship is also called Sir Ratan Tata Scholarships as the award is funded by Sir Ratan Tata Trust.
• This scholarship is exclusively for girl students.

Fee Waiver

• Those who cleared admission process and whose parent income is less than 4.5 lac/annum will get full tuition fee waiver upto 5% of total students admitted.
