Geeta Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT), Kanipla is a constituent of Geeta Education Trust.The aim of the institute is to become a leading institution in engineering and management with departments as centers of excellence, imparting high quality education and providing ambience for growth of professionals as excellent human beings as well.

• National Service Scheme- The Institute also has an NSS Wing to develop understanding of community and inculcate patriotism. Presently, 172 students are enrolled for NSS. In the recent past, the Institute has being organizing Blood Donation Camps, creating awareness in masses regarding Environmental up gradation, Road safety and Voting Rights etc
• Natinal Cadet Corps- Cadets can join Military/Paramilitary training, mountaineering basic leadership and first aid course

• Hostels are well equipped with all the modern facilities

Library:

• It has the collection of 10000 volumes of books of all the branches
• It also houses many national and international journals
