About College

One of the pioneering B-schools of India, FMS, Faculty of Management Studies, was established in 1954 and since then the institute’s brand equity has been nurtured by its alumni making it one of the best management schools in India. The institute was setup under the aegis of University of Delhi better known as DU, which is a premier public central university located in Delhi, India established in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly

• One of the oldest business schools in India to offer full-time MBA programs which initially started as an institution at the Delhi School of Economics.
• Since 1954, FMS has shown immense growth & commitment to development of management professionals decade by decade providing exchange programs and collaborative arrangements with supreme industrial and business houses, management institutions & professional associations in India & abroad.

• Deloitte Maverick Case Study Competition- North Zone winners & 4th position at National Level (2012)

The most noteworthy festivals and events managed by FMS students include:

• Fiesta (Annual Management Festival): the fiesta which started in 2005 is a program which foresees participation from national leaders, corporate luminaries and prominent Business schools throughout the country
• Annual Leadership Summit: Fiesta includes Annual Convention (Held in January & February) and Annual Conclave (Held in September)

Placement Description:

The Faculty of Management Studies has had a legacy of securing stellar placements, both in terms of the compensation and the wide variety of profiles on offer. This year’s placement season has continued this legacy, securing 212 offers for a batch where 205 students participated in the placement process, ensuring 100% placements. 37 first-time recruiters visited the campus this season:
