About College

Chameli Devi School of Management (CDSM) was established in 1966. He was instrumental in widening the business spectrum of the group. Shri Sanjay Kumar Agarwal entered into the fray in the year 1985.

  • Chameli Devi School of Management, Indoreis a MBA program run by Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGl). It is inaugurated by Shri. N. R. Narayana Murthy- the Chief Guru of Infosys and the college has adoption of latest tools and techniques.

  • In a short span of just 40 years, the Aggarwal group has diversified into various activities like education, manufacturing, entertainment, transportation, food-processing, non- conventional energy generation, finance and real estate.

  • It is a matter of great pride and privilege to say that the Agarwal group is one of the largest importers of coal in India.
  • The group has recently forayed into the non- conventional energy generation sector by setting up wind powered electric generators.
  • The group has a long and illustrious history in the field of education.
  • The Agarwal Public School and the Chameli Devi Public School are shining examples of excellence in elementary education.

  • Research Conference- To motivate faculty to participate in research activity CDSM invites leading academic and industry research experts to extant papers on diverse management facets
  • Research Methodology Workshop- It is a 3-day workshop constituted by CDSM
  • FOREX Workshop- For the podium of learning and enhancing capabilities of students it was organized for 2 days

Activities:-

NEN Cell: CDGI E-Cell started in collaboration with NEN on 31st June 2014 to promote streaking of entrepreneurship among management & engineering graduates and to facilitate the future entrepreneurs in enhancing their knowledge and skills. The motive is to inculcate Entrepreneur skills among the students.

Young Indians (Yi Yuva): Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), not-for-profit, a non-government, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process. Yi was formed in 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realise the dream of a developed nation. Yi has around 1650 direct members in 33 chapters and engages around 10500 students through student nets, under the brand ‘Yuva’.

Women Cell:

  • There shall be a minimum of FIVE members in the Cell.
  • It shall comprise of ONE from CS & IT, ONE from EX & E&C, ONE from MBA, TWO from Humanities, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, T&P wing, Office & Library.
  • The committee shall be constituted, as mentioned above, in a meeting of all lady staff members.
  • The tenure of the members shall be TWO years from the date of constitution.
  • No member shall be eligible to continue for more than TWO consecutive terms.
  • Details of the committee constituted shall be informed to Dean, CDGI.

Anti Ragging Cell: Ragging of students in any form is strictly prohibited within and outside the campus. An anti-ragging cell is constituted under the overall charge of the Dean.

      The college campus is very good, faculty is very experienced which provides very good insight into the real industry. The industry exposure is decent but definitely could be improved upon. One thing that needs improvement is the extra curricular activities that are conducted in college. They need to be improved to create a better college life for the students. The college curricular is too academic oriented which is not always nice. The college will also give good opportunities in terms of place
