Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development (BIMHRD) formerly known as ICMHRD is a unique institute which has emerged as one amongst the Best B-schools in the country within a short period of time. Indian Centre for Management and Human Resource development (ICMHRD) was rechristened as Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource development (BIMHRD) in 2007

The BIMHRD spread over a 16.5-acre (67,000 m2) area overlooking the city of Pune, the campus is situated on Mumbai-Bangalore By-Pass Highway. At BIMHRD, students are put through a schedule that strikes the perfect balance between academic inputs and workshops conducted by veterans from the corporate world, which gives them exposure to the latest developments in the industry.

Aiyaswamy Cultural  Award : In memory of it’s founder an award has been instituted by Sri Balaji Society and named as 'Aiyaswamy Cultural Award' carrying a cash worth of Rs. 1,00,000/- only which is a group award granted to the best class in the cultural activities in each institute during the freshers' induction function.  The winners of this award utilize this fund for field study in the form of picnic in other cities.
