Amrita School of Business has a strong academic background.It is among one of the few colleges in India where Management Doctorial Program is offered. The first batch was commenced in 2009. Presently, it is offering part time PhD program. The actual period of completion for a full-time Doctoral student is max. 6 years. In the case of part-time Doctoral students, the maximum period allowed to complete the program is 7 years.

Facilities

ASB has a campus sprawling over 330 acre along the hill side that reveals a breathtaking view of Annamalai peak lit by lightning flashes amidst the Western Ghats loomed in the morning mist. Such an interference of pristine nature makes it a beautiful place to live in.

Hostel

Hostels are well furnished and spacious to make students feel like home.

• Girls: One room accommodations provided to the students at the New PG Girls Hostel.

Library

The Institute houses a well maintained library that caters to wide range of interests of students and faculty members.The school has Wi-Fi facility in the campus for the students. ASB has one of the best management libraries in India. The  Library has a collection of over 14,000 titles, 187 subscriptions to journals, more than 6300 e-journals in full-text with 1922 back volumes, around 100 computer databases with data on more than 700 CD-ROM's, 70 video cassettes, and around 500 corporate annual reports.

Canteen

Canteen authority provides refreshments to students and faculty members throughout the day. its nearness to the hostel ensures students get the requisites whenever they wish to.

Banking

An extension branch of the Dhanalakshmi Bank is functional in the institute on all working days. Facilities such as personal banking and ATM facility are also made available by the bank.

Health Care

A dispensary is available with a qualified doctor twenty four hours a day to take care of any emergency. Regular checkups of students and faculty members are carried out to ensure their fitness.

Festival :

Pragati is the Annual Business Fest of Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore. The theme for the 14th year of the event was ‘Black Swan’ – Unseen Opportunities in Uncertainties. Abiding by the theme, the forums designed their games. There were six forums, handling six different fields of management: Relations for HR, Ozone for Operations, GenM for Marketing, Biz-It for Systems, Jagriti for fun and Fortune for Finance.
