About College

NISM University is a modern age university with all the up-to-date facilities available for the students. It is amongst the largest and best self-financed University of our country.

NIMS University is spread over 60 acres of land which is covered with greenery, state of the art infrastructure, and modern laboratory equipped with the latest technology. It has 6 institution and 16 schools through which high quality education is provided to its students.

NIMS University also have 4 colleges which includes

• National Institute of Medical College and Research: NIMS medical college and research institute was established in the year of 2004 but recognition was given by Medical Council of India (MCI) for MBBS degree in 2009
• Dental College: The NIMS Dental College is considered to be the best dental college in the state of Rajasthan. It was established in the year 2006. The recognition was given for the BDS courses in the year of 2010 by DCI.
• Nursing College: NIMS Nursing College was established in the year of 2004
• Physiotherapy

Extra Curricular activities are very much encouraged in NIMS University and the students are deeply active in taking part of different extracurricular activities organized by The University. Sports being the most favorable amongst the students and the Activity calendar are packed with a number of inter-institute sports competitions, as well as match between hostel sections and student batches. Apart from sports, students also take interest in cultural events as well. There are two clubs under cultural Activities,

• Music Club
• Dramatics club

Both the clubs are joint initiative of students and faculties.

Central Library: The central library of NIMS has an excellent collection of books, print journals, e-journals and other documents. This is truly a knowledge centre having its collections in the field of medical science, dental, pharmacy, paramedical, nursing, biotechnology, technology management, law, humanities, architecture, mathematics, statistics, economics, statistical quality control & operations research etc. It is equipped with high speed internet connectivity, online access to 8300 journals and electronics data base, Computer lab etc.

Hostel facility: NIMS University offers high class hostel facilities to its students.

Transport facility: NIMS University offers transportation to cater large number of day scholars and faculties. It also arranges a weekly trip for the campus students to the nearby cities for a casual day out.

Banking: NIMS University provide banking services to it students through IDBI Bank which is located insight the campus premises.

• Rs.500/month for all the courses (except MBBS) for all girls students and for all boys having 60% or more marks in the qualifying exams
• Government Schemes - for all SC/ST/OBC, 100% tuition fees refund by the state governments under the state government policy.
