About College
Bidhannagar College, Kolkatta was established in 1984 with the aim of providing quality education to students of Salt Lake and adjoining areas. Formerly the college was affiliated to Calcutta University. From 2008 onwards, the college is affiliated to West Bengal State University, Barasat. It is accredited with B++ grade by NAAC.

- DPI'S Free-Studentship and Half Free-Studentship available for needy students.
- Book grants for needy students from students' aid plus Travel grants for educational tours from Teachers' fund.
- Post-Matric stipends available for S.C., S.T. Students.
- TARGET charity Stipends of Rs. 500/- per month are available for 30 Students. 5 students from Humanities and 5 students from Science each year (i.e. 1st, 2nd and 3rd year).
