2. Security Charges – The amount of Security fees is Rs. 10,000/- for all courses /programmes including Ph.D programs. The security fees is refundable.
3. Counseling & Registration Charges – The amount of Counseling & Registration Charges is Rs. 15,000/- for B.Tech CSE With & Without Specializations, MBA (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) , MBA (Big Data analytics) and LLM and for all other courses /programmes (except "B.Sc. - Hospitality and Hotel Administration") including Ph.D programs the amount is Rs. 10,000/-. The Counseling & Registration Charges is non-refundable.
4. Examination Fees – According to the rules of the University there is a paper-wise semester examination fee will be charged extra.

Placement-

The eligibility and CGPA required for appearing for SRM University Campus placement as per the respective companies is a follows –

• Students must pass in all subjects of university examinations.
• The minimum aggregate CGPA of all eligible students should be 6 without any backlogs. Apart from that, the student is also required to fulfill the specified criteria given by the recruiting organization/ company which may also vary from company to company.
• The eligibility criteria for placement of a student is also depending on the attendance of a student. The academic attendance of a student must maintain a minimum of 75% in all the semesters up to the campus visit of a company
• All the students shall be eligible to appear for a dream status companies irrespective of their status of being already placed, that offer a CTC over Rs 6.0 LPA. The University shall decide the dream status companies on the basis of the reputation and credibility of the company.

Student Scholarships

To boost up and support exemplary candidates, SRM University, Sonipat has initiated a very unique scholarship program called the ‘SRMH Scholar Search Program’. According to this Program, a candidate may score for a scholarship of up to 100% on the Tuition Fee of the university. The scholarship granted is applicable for the duration of the course, subject to maintaining the necessary CGPA. It should be noted that all scholarship programs are apt to availability and are allowed on the basis of first come first served.

Chancellor’s Scholarship

On the basis of economic background for academically meritorious candidates like achievers in sports, this scholarship program is perfect.  On the basis of their marks in 12^th exam the commendable students can also take advantage of School Toppers’ Scholarship program.

• Students with ≥ 95 % in the 12^th exam are suitable for a 100% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 92-94.9 % in the 12^th exam are suitable for a 75% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 89-91.9% in the 12^th exam are suitable for a 50% scholarship in tuition fees.
• Students with 80-88.9 % in the 12^th exam are suitable for a 25% scholarship in tuition fees.

 Haryana Domicile Scholarship

The provision of Scholarships for Haryana Domicile Candidates (25% of total seats) has been implemented by the SRM University, Sonipat, Haryana as per provisions of the Haryana State Private Universities Act, 2006 clause 35 & 36. For availing the scholarship the student should fulfill the below mention criteria:

• Rank/Performance in the National Level Entrance Examination i.e. SRMHCAT only.
• The student needs to fulfill the min. eligibility criteria required for the scholarship.
• Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be on the basis of minimal academic performance.

It is compulsory for applicants applying in the Haryana Domicile category and at the time of admission submit the Domicile certificate.

Haryana Domicile & Chancellor Scholarship eligibility criteria

As per the policy adopted by the University for the second & subsequent years for the continuance of the Haryana Domicile Scholarship, the following conditions must be fulfilled:

• A student should have passed all the subjects of their respective semesters.
• To continue the scholarship – The Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 7.5 and above.

For continuation of Hon’ble Chancellor’s Scholarship an applicant needs to secure a minimum CGPA for the second & subsequent years as mentioned below:

Applicants should have passed all the subjects of their respective semesters.

• For 100% & 75 % scholarship – Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 9.00 and above.
• For 50% scholarship – Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 8.00 and above.
• For 25% scholarship – Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 7.00 and above.
• For 10% scholarship – Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) shall be 6.00 and above.

Student Scholarship for SRMJEEE Aspirants

 Scholarship for Diploma holders (Lateral entry) only

For Lateral Entry Admission in B. Tech Scholarship Policy for the Academic Year 2020-21 only. (Except for Specialization courses like TCS, IBM, and Xebia )

If a student wants to continue this Scholarship for the Third & subsequent years then a candidate will be subject to securing a min. CGPA of 7 and above. The scholarship will be discontinued if CGPA will drop less than 7.

An applicant should have passed all the subjects of their respective semesters.

This policy is valid only for the AY 2020-21.
