Apeejay Stya University B.Tech Admission 2020

Under a number of specializations, Apeejay Stya University(ASU) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Engg, i.e. B.Tech degree. For a period of four years the full-time B.Tech programme has been offered. On the basis of written tests/ Entrance test and interview the admission in the B.Tech course is done.

For admission the minimum eligibility criteria for 12th in Science stream with min. 50% marks in aggregate. For the duration of five years ASU also offers Integrated B.Tech in Biotechnology.

• On the basis of admission on the marks in Written Test/ Entrance Test and interview round conducted by the university.
• On the basis of the students’ performance in academics the final selection has been done.
• ASU conducts a separate Law Entrance Test for LL.B and integrated LL.B programs, followed by an interview round.
• For Ph.D. admission, aspirants have to qualify for the Ph.D. Entrance Test conducted by the university. On the Research Proposal and the interview round the final admission depends.

ASU UG Admission 2020: B.Des, B.Com(H), BBA, D.Pharm, B.Pharm, B.Ed, LLB & B.A (Hons)

There are several UG courses offered by the University in the fields of Commerce, Arts, Designing, Mass Communication, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Journalism. All the UG courses are offered for a period of 4 years except for the B.Ed programme which is for 2 years.

On the basis of an aptitude test & personal interview admission to the UG courses has been done. However, in order to get admission to the university candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria.

Key Points:

• To apply for B.Des. program students Appearing/ to Appear in 12th examination are also eligible.
• A candidate applying for B.Des having qualification From any Foreign Board Needs an Equivalency Certificate.
• For the LLB program total Intake is 30.
• For B.Com and BBA programs total Intake is 60 each.

ASU PG Admission 2020: M.Sc., MA & M.Pharm

Apeejay University offers several Postgraduate level courses in the streams of Arts, Science and Pharmaceutical Sciences. ASU also offers PG Diploma in Clinical Research. For the duration of 2 years all the PG courses are offered except for the PG Diploma and Executive Diploma courses.

The performance of candidates’ in Written Test/ Entrance Test and interview is the matter of admission to MA, M.Pharm and M.Sc courses is subject to.

On the basis of academic merit, performance in entrance test followed by an interview admission to the Postgraduate courses is done.

• Experience of 3 years for PG diploma courses, industry /education will be preferred
• For the SC/ST candidates 5% marks relaxation will be considered

Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram Ph.D. Admission 2020

Doctorate level courses are also offered by the univ. in diff. streams under a no. of specializations to the research aspiring candidates. The max. duration period of all the Ph.D. courses is 2 years.

On the basis of Entrance Test, Research Proposal Presentation & Interview admission to the Ph.D. courses is done.

Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram Application Process 2020

For any of the programs offered by ASU in order to apply, candidates can either apply online at the admission portal of the university or fill up the downloaded form.  Applicants must follow the given directives to apply:

Online Mode:

1. Click on the tab “Apply Now Admission” and the page will be direct you to the ASU online admission portal.
2. Read the instructions and click to “Apply Now”.
3. The Online Application form will appear on the screen which will comprise of seven sections titled as: Personal, Address, Education, Exam, Work, Documents and Declaration.
4. Applicants need to fill up information in the fields marked as mandatory.
5. After filling up the complete details applicants are required to pay the application fee of INR 1100 via Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking.
6. Save the application fee for future reference.

Note: Upon registration and payment of application fees, candidates would be intimidated about the admission process on their respective E-mail IDs.

Offline Mode:

1. The application form can be downloaded from the website under the tab “Offline Application Form”.
2. Candidates should be submitted the duly filled in form along with necessary document and a Demand Draft of INR 1100 drawn in favour of “Apeejay Stya Education Foundation”, payable at New Delhi.
3. The application form should be submitted at (post/courier) any one of Admission Office/ Apeejay Institution.

Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram Scholarships

Being a part of Apeejay Stya Univ., SOMS offers scholarships and financial help schemes as explained below:

The scholarship is offered on the basis of marks in 10+2. Merit cum means scholarships are also available for deserving candidates.

• Scholarships and Financial Aids will be provided to the candidates who have scored at least 93% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board.
• To apply for scholarships students awaiting result (but have scored 93% aggregate in their Pre-Boards) are also eligible.
• To students’ performance in final board exams final settlement of scholarship amount is subject.

How to Apply for Scholarship:

Students can apply online for the scholarship with the regular univ. application form.

Facilities

Hostel: Apeejay Stya University campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with all facilities and attached mess. The hostel mess serves hygienic food. Coolers and air conditioning facilities are also available in the hostel. Hostel rooms are furnished with cots, bedding, study tables, almiras, etc.

Health Centre: There are medical rooms in the campus, Boys’ hostel and Girls’ hostel.  Both male and female staff are available day and night to take care of any emergency First aid kits and medicines are available for 24 hours. Health insurance from the National Insurance Company Ltd. are issued to all ASU students to cater to high value emergencies. A vehicle with driver is available for 24 hours for emergencies.

Incubation Centre: This Centre provides an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial view. It helps to identify the challenges of new business ventures and help entrepreneurs to effectively take their model.  

Centre of Corporate Resource: To support entrepreneurship this centre has an ‘E-Cell’ in association with National Entrepreneurship Network and is involved with notable organisations like ASSOCHAM, CII, AIMA, FICCI, NHRD, PHDCCI, World Brand Congress, NEN, MEDICI Institute, and COM Asia. 

Library- The library has a collection of books, journals, databases, CDs/ DVDs, e-journals, project reports, etc. 60,000 books related to different fields like Engineering, Management, Biosciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mass Communication, Design, Education and allied subjects uses Libsys software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system.
