JECRC UNIVERSITY

JECRC University was established in the year 2012. It is located in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. The University is driven by the culture of excellence and spirit of research and innovation. It is a Private University that is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is also recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Centre.

The JECRC University aims to become a center for providing students with Quality Higher Education and works towards the enrichment of its students in professional, academic, cultural and social fronts. FACULTIES AND COURSES OFFERED

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Faculty of Engineering aims in providing High-Quality Education to its students with graduation, post-graduation and Ph.D. Degrees in the Engineering Field. The faculty offers specialization in fields like Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology & Computer Applications. The Graduation Courses offered are four years of duration and post-graduation courses for two years. Currently, the facilities which are available by the faculty are – visualization and virtual reality applications, digital and analog electronics lab, control and robotics lab, space vehicle mission planning lab. Other facilities also include a design lab, simulator lab, and computer lab. The courses offered by the faculty are:

FACULTY OF IT & CA

By adapting to the changing technological advancements of the industry, Faculty of Information Technology & Computer Applications wants to achieve international standards of providing Education, Research and Development. The mission of the faculty is to provide good quality professionals with graduate and post-graduate degrees so that they can promote innovation and research for the betterment of society. The courses offered by the faculty are:

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT

Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, and Operations are the four main cores of any business without which a business cannot run. Faculty of Management, therefore, offers programs at the undergraduate level, postgraduate level, and doctorate level so that students can gain skills of management over the years like analytical ability, communication skills, problem-solving, presentation skills, logical thinking, etc. These degrees will provide management skills and wisdom in the students and thus various opportunities can be availed by them like self-employment, consultancy, etc.

Mass Communication is also being offered by the Faculty of Management through which a student can make a career in films, TV, publishing, public relations, journalism, editing, direction, film making, script-writing, etc. Another very popular course, Hotel Management, is also offered by the faculty. The course makes the students ready for a career in event management, hotels, sales and business development, tourism sector, entertainment sector, food service management, etc.

FACULTY OF HOSPITALITY AND HOTEL MANAGEMENT

For providing the aspirants with the vast and diversified exposure of the Hospitality Industry, the Faculty of Hospitality and Hotel Management offers students two intensive programs:

The programs are framed in such a manner that would help students to learn fundamentals and concepts of the hotel industry, commercial kitchen operations, food and beverage services, hospitality management and giving value to the hospitality guests. The programs are delivered to the students through theory lectures, tutorials, interactive sessions, problem-solving, class presentations, and case studies. Food Beverage Service, Rooms Division Management, Kitchen Operations Management, Fundamentals of Management, Marketing Introduction, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, and Research and Managerial Accounting are some of the topics which are taught in the above courses which are offered.

FACULTY OF JOURNALISM & MASS COMMUNICATION

The Faculty of Journalism & Mass Communication provides its students with great opportunities where they can practice all the fields of journalism and mass communications. The courses offered by the department help students to make a career in print media, electronic media, and digital media also. The faculty embeds Professional Journalism within the students through various activities and programs. The Faculty publishes a daily newspaper called “The Message”, produces a radio bulletin called ‘The Voice’, and a television bulletin named ‘The TV Talk’. The faculty also has an official blog called “Alava”. Through all these initiatives a student can learn all that is required to be a good and intellect Journalist.

The faculty has well equipped and modern media labs. They consist of T.V. Studio, Production Control Room, Radio Studio, Video Editing Room, News Room, and Media and Communication Research Lab. The department also arranges Departmental Club Activities, Industry visits, Seminars, workshops, etc. The following courses are offered by the department:

FACULTY OF SCIENCE

Faculty of Science has been the backbone of JECRC University. It has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers who come from all the well-known institutes across the country.  The faculty provides Quality Education in Science by offering various graduate, undergraduate and doctorate level courses. The courses offered areas:

Students are taught the latest and updated curriculum and most recent developments in the field of science. The students not only get excellent scientific skills but their overall personality is also transformed. The students are made to work in teams and are given exposure to doing projects, developing presentations, improving communication skills and participating in extracurricular activities.

FACULTY OF LAW

All the courses which are offered by the Faculty of Law are approved by The Bar Council of India. Following courses are offered by the faculty:

FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

Faculty of Agriculture offers such courses to its students that emphasizes on soil and water conservation, plant breeding and pathology, soil and plant interaction system, agribusiness management, livestock production, and their management, and agriculture economics. Horticulture, land management, turfgrass management, aquaculture, machine shop classes, cropping machinery, biology courses, etc. are some of the topics which are included in the courses offered by the department.

The courses offered by the faculty have great scope and are job oriented as well.  After the degrees which are offered by the department, students can also pursue higher education like M.Sc. Agriculture in different streams like Horticulture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant-Pathology, etc. Students can also opt for MBA in Rural Management, Risk Management, Agri-Business Management after they have completed B.Sc. (Agriculture).

FACULTY OF DESIGN

Faculty of Design is offering two courses to the aspirants wherein they can learn creativity and enhance market knowledge that is required to become successful professionals. The courses that are offered are:

Campus

The 32-acre JECRC University Campus is a combination of distinctive classical architecture and contemplative layout which makes it a perfect place for learning and living. The campus is well designed and the constructed area covers an area of around 10,00,000 square feet. The campus is near the prime industrial and institutional hub of the city of Jaipur. The campus has well connectivity with all the parts of the city. A central library with a good collection of books and journals of national and international repute is also there.

The campus is green and eco-friendly with all the modern facilities available. The whole campus is wi-fi enabled, has one of the best computer labs with the latest computing facilities with internet connectivity. There are separate hostels for boys and girls and these are very comfortable and air-conditioned. For recreational activities the campus has a sports complex, well –equipped gym, basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, badminton court and much more. Mess and cafeteria are also available for students where they can enjoy delicious multi-cuisine food. An air-conditioned dining hall with a kitchen is also present.

Students of JECRC University have a good placement record. The University has an independent Training and Placement cell which looks after the training and placement of students. It creates a link between the students of the University and the industry and caters to the need of both, the students and the companies.
