Application process for entrance-based UG courses usually commences in the second week of May and forms are accepted until the first week of June. Candidates can download their respective Admit Card for the entrance examination from the UG admission portal and take its print-out for future use
- In case of BMS, BBA-FIA and BA (Economics) admission, the weightage of Joint Admission Test (JAT) and GD/PI is 85% and 15% respectively.
- For B. Tech. (IT&M) and BA (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences admissions, a 2 hour MCQ based entrance test is conducted by the university. The pattern of marking will be as particularized by the university.
- Admission of candidates to B.Sc. (P.E., H.E. & S) is done on the basis of marks scored in the written examination and other tests (Fitness Test, Playing Ability Test), conducted by Delhi University.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for admission to B.El.Ed. and BA (Hons) MMMC programme on the basis of their performance in the university entrance test

Delhi University PG Admission 2020
The Delhi University also offers PG courses in the stream of Commerce, Arts, Science etc. and other Faculties/Departments. Usually, every year in May the application process for PG admissions commence and admission to the courses are done on the basis of marks secured in the entrance test, conducted by Delhi University.
Apply For DU PG Courses
In addition to various PG courses, Delhi university also offers a one-year PG Diploma course in Cyber Security and Law (PGDCSL) under the ‘Institute of Cyber Security and Law’. Admission to the 100 seats for the Cyber Security Program shall be based on the merit drawn from the marks obtained in graduation and personal interview. Following are some key points regarding PGDCSL program:
- Candidates appearing in the last year examination of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.
- The application fee is INR 750 (Unreserved and OBC candidates) and INR 300 (SC/ST/PwD/CW candidates)
- The course will comprise of two semesters, each containing five subjects and an end of semester project.
- As per the scheduled timetable the classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
- For the PGDCSL, the Selection of the candidates will be based on the combined merit of qualifying exam and personal interview.
- 85% weightage will be given to the qualifying degree merit and 15% weightage will be given to the interview.

Delhi University Registration Process 2020
Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University courses can apply online through the official registration portal by following the below-mentioned steps:
- As a first time user, the candidate shall navigate to the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the user account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
- Under the “Create New Account” page, the candidate should fill in all the required details.
- Candidate should verify his/her email-id and Password as henceforth, it will be used for the admission purposes.
- Finally, the candidate should click the “Register” button to create a new user account.
- A confirmation message will be sent to the valid and registered email ID/mobile no. upon sign up of the registration account.
- Once registered, the applicant should log on to the UG/PG/Ph.D admission portal to complete the online registration form.
- Under the “Registered Applicant Sign In” tab, the candidate shall enter “registered email-id” as username and the “password”.

Reservation of seats in Delhi University
- SC/ST reservation at DU: Candidates falling under the categories - scheduled caste (SC) or schedule tribes (ST) have a total 22.5% reserved seats for them in Delhi University colleges. Of these, 15 % seats are reserved for SCs and 7.5 % for STs.
- OBC reservation at DU: Candidates belongs to the other backward classes (OBC) category get 27 % reserved seats, and a 10% relaxation on marks.
- PwD: There is also a reservation of 3% seats for students with 40% disability.
- Wards of Armed Force personnel: There are also reserved seats in Delhi University colleges for folks of armed forces, children/widows of officers, and para-military personnel.
- Foreign students: 5% of all seats in various courses at Delhi University are reserved for students from foreign countries. These candidates are needed to apply directly to the Delhi University Foreign Students Advisor.
- Sports quota/ECA Students: A max. of 5% of seats in courses are reserved for students under the sports/ECA quota at all DU colleges.
