The main concern of every applicant is to understand about the SBI PO Exam Pattern, as it will aid the claimant to perceive the actual depiction of the SBI PO Exam.
Phase-I Preliminary Examination: This one hour SBI PO Exam contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) which is categorized into subsequent three areas: English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.
Each section consists of 30 questions and each question gives one mark on the correct answer and deducts 1/4th mark for every incorrect answer.

The applicants who clear both the Prelims & Mains Exam of SBI PO 2018 will be further called for a GD-PI session. During the interview they will face a panel of selectors discussing on their past experience and questions related to General Knowledge and of the Banking Sector. Final qualifying marks for this round will be decided by the Bank and the marks allotted to these rounds are:
Group Discussion - 20 marks, Interview - 30 marks (Total – 50)
After a applicant has gone through Personal Interviews, a merit list will be prepared by State Bank of India in which the candidate's score of Mains Exam and Interview Round will be taken into account., A final cut-off marks will be declared based on the score obtained by candidates and the available vacancies. All candidates who clear the cut-off range will be granted the Appointment Letter by State Bank of India for the designation of Probationary Officer in PAN India.
