Punjab CET Exam Eligibility

The minimum academic qualification required for appearing in the Punjab CET Exam is a pass in 10+2 with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects.

For B.Tech:

You need to have cleared (10+2) or its equivalent with physics and Maths as the main subjects and any of Computer science, chemistry, biotechnology, Biology as optional subject.

Those who having a Diploma in Engineering stream from Punjab Board of Technical Education/ Certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engg.& Tech./ any other recognized State Board of Technical Education are also eligible for Punjab CET Exam.

For B.Arch:

You need to have cleared 12^th or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks with mathematics and English as subjects of Examination are eligible to apply for Architecture Course.

3 year Diploma holders with a minimum of 50% marks would be eligible for the admission to 1st year of B.Arch. course subject to an aptitude test.

For B. Pharma:

For B. Pharma, possess  10+2 with physics and chemistry as mandatory subjects along with any of Computer Science, Bio-Technology or mathematics as the optional subjects or 3 year diploma in pharmacy from an institute tied up to Punjab Technical Education and Industrial Training with a minimum of 50% marks in total.

For Lateral Entry:

Admission to different universities would be governed by their respective eligibility criteria from any other University. 15% of seats in each college- Admission would be on the basis of AIEEE merit; those of you who are applying under this category need not to take CET.

Age: Above 17 years.

Exceptions: Passed 12th from Mahila Gram Vidyapeeth, Allahabad are not eligible. Blind, (includingcolorr blind) deaf, and dumb applicants are not eligible.

• The eligibility criteria for the applicant is to be an Indian citizen 
• Foreign citizens can apply via NRI quota
• Applicant belonging to SC Category must submit the certificate regarding their category duly signed by the officers mentioned in the form. Applications containing the signature of any other officer will not be accepted to get the eligibility criteria.
