Eligibility for JIPMER Exam

The one who wished to apply for JIPMER Exam were advised to ascertain their eligibility criteria before filling up the application forms. JIPMER Exam eligibility is mentioned below:

Age limit

You must be at least 17 years of age on or before the exam. There is no maximum age limit.

Nationality

You must be an Indian citizen. However, overseas citizens of India (OCI) are also eligible to appear in JIPMER Exam.

Educational requirements

Should appear or passed 10+2 or equivalent examination
Must be 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (including practical tests) with English as an elective subject
Must have secured a min of 50% marks in PCB, whereas it is 40% for SC/ST categories. In respect to Physically Handicapped belonging to General category, the min marks to obtain in PCB is 45%
