This national level JAM Exam is also called as Joint Admission Test for MSc. JAM Exam is handled by Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) every year on a rotational basis on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.

IIT JAM Exam is managed in seven subjects to get admission in MSc and other post-graduate courses offered at IITs and integrated PhD courses offered at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

JAM Exam score is also accepted by several National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) for MSc admissions.

Key Facts of JAM Exam

The JAM Exam is conducted once in a year, nationally.
JAM Exam contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Question (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT).
JAM Exam doesn’t require any additional requirement like interview or test.
It is a computer-based test.
