IBPS PO Exam Process

The selection procedure of IBPS PO Exam comprises three phases (preliminary, mains and GD & PI) and the candidate must pass each and every round to select as a deserving PO for a government bank. The important steps of the IBPS PO Exam Recruitment Procedure are mentioned below:

Online Preliminary Examination

It is an online exam through which an authorized group shortlists the candidate from each category.

Online Mains Examination

In this stage, candidates must select on the basis of the sectional as well as the overall cutoff in the IBPS PO Exam (Main).

Interview

The shortlisted candidates for IBPS Mains Exam will be invited for an interview.

Final Result

The overall performance of the candidate is declared on the basis of the IBPS PO Exam Mains and Interview Rounds.

Provisional Allotment:

The provisional allotment of the qualified and deserving candidate is released on the official website of the IBPS PO Exam.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern

The IBPS Exam pattern is divided into two phases as shown below:

The marks of Preliminary Exam will not be added to the final list as it is just a qualifying paper.
After the Main exam, the next round is to face the Interview Panel.
The ratio of marks of both Mains and Interview is of 80:20.
