HPU MAT Process:

HPU MAT Selection Parameters

Application Rating	30 marks (10% of the percentage of marks obtained in Class X, Class XII and Graduation)
HPU-MAT	50 marks
Group Discussion	10 marks
Personal Interview	10 marks

HPU MAT Reservation in subsidized Category Seats

Seats reserved for subsidized test takers who are seeking admission to MBA Programme will be subject to the following conditions:

For SC/ST category candidates 15% and 7and half seats will be reserved.
The remaining 77 and a half % seats will be occupied by students irrespective of colleges from where they have passed out
75% of the seats will be occupied by candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from HP University or Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry or HP Krishi Vishwavidayalaya Palampur.

HPU MAT was conducted for test takers who want to pursue MBA in Himachal Pradesh University Business School. After the results and cut off are announced, candidates must then prepare themselves for the GD & PI. Candidates need to submit their documents and reservation evidence at the time of GD and PI, so that they avail the final admission into the HPUBS.

HPU MAT Pattern

HPU MAT is an objective type paper-pencil based examination comprises 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs). This HPU MAT entrance will be divided into four sections carrying 50 questions each. The following table explains the same.
