FMS Exam Process

Selection to the FMS Exam MBA FT course will be based on:

Personal interview,
Group discussion
CAT Score

The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in all the above three rounds.

FMS Exam Pattern

The examination pattern for the FMS Exam Admissions shall be similar to the CAT having objective type multiple choice based questions on the following main sections:

Section I: Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic/ Commercial Mathematics/ Mensuration etc)
Section II: Mathematics (Algebra/ Geometry etc)
Section III: Verbal Ability (Reasoning Test/ Logic Test/ English Comprehension)
Section IV: English Usage (Grammar/ Vocabulary/ Proficiency/ Usage Errors)

Total Number of Questions: 175

Section Wise Distribution of Questions:

English Usage (35 Questions)
Reading Comprehension (40 Questions)
Analytical and Logical Reasoning (50 Questions) and
Quantitative Aptitude (50 Questions)

Duration of Exam: 120 Minutes/ 2 Hours

Marking Scheme:

4 marks per correct question and negative marking of the specified marks shall be done in FMS Exam.
The applicants should qualify in all the sections of the FMS exam as per the cut off marks and merit decided by the selection authority for this purpose.
