To fulfill the eligibility criteria for CUSAT CAT is must. Candidates must complete the requirements on various parameters such as age, academic qualification etc. If in any case, students found not eligible will be disqualified from the admission process with no refund of application fee. Let’s have a look on the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT given below:

Age Requirement: For CUSAT CAT, candidates must not be more than 25 years of age.

CUSAT CAT eligibility for different courses

Courses offered by CUSAT CAT	Requirements in Qualifying Examination (QE)
Regular B.Tech courses	To apply for CUSAT CAT, a candidate should passed their 12^th from Kerala board or equivalent Subjects in QE: PCM Minimum marks in QE: 50% in PCM altogether and 50% in Mathematics.
B.Tech Instrumentation Technology	QE: 10+ 2 from any state or national board or equivalent examination Subjects in QE: PCM Minimum marks in QE: Overall percentage in PCM is 60% and 55% in Mathematics seperately.
B.Tech Naval Architecture & Ship Building	For CUSAT CAT, QE: 10+ 2 from state board of Kerala or any other university/ board accepted by the Syndicate of the University Subjects in QE: PCM Minimum marks in QE: 50% in PCM and 50% in Mathematics.
B.Tech Polymer Science and Engineering	QE: Intermediate from Kerala board or equivalent Subjects in QE: PCM Minimum marks in QE: 50% in PCM and 50% in Maths.
B.Tech Marine Engineering	To apply for CUSAT CAT, QE: Passed 12^th from Kerala board or equivalent board Subjects in QE: PCM and English Minimum marks in QE: 60% secured in PCM and 50% in Maths. Others: Candidates must pass English in class X or XII with 50% irrespective of category
