CIEAT Exam Process

Candidate must given the CIEAT Exam for admission in the university. Qualifying candidates will able to go through the counseling and interview round.

CIEAT Exam Counselling

After CIEAT Exam Result declaration, Candidates who have scored good marks in the test are invited for counselling for various courses.

It is to be noted that 12^th also play an important role in the selection of candidate for various programs.

Admissions in BTech are also provided on basis of JEE Main Score. Separate rounds of counselling will be held on the basis of both the tests.

CIEAT Exam Documents required for counseling process under BSAUEEE Exam

• Result card of CIEAT Exam
• Admit card of CIEAT Exam
• Detailed Marks Certificate of Class 12
• Migration/Transfer certificate from previous board
• Residence proof, caste or category certificate, income proof etc.
• Passport sized pictures of candidate.

Since counselling is an important part for admission, candidates are advised to carry these documents with care so as to avoid any hustle during the counselling process.

CIEAT Exam Pattern

CIEAT Exam will be conducted by B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and technology, Tamil Nadu in the last week of April. CIEAT Exam is a State Level Engineering Entrance Exam held for admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch)

• CIEAT Exam will be conducted in Online Mode.
• The test paper will comprise of objective based multiple choice questions.
• For every correct answer 1 marks will be rewarded and no marks will be deducted for wrong answer.
• The duration of CIEAT Exam will be of 2 hours.
• Medium of exam is English only.
• Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are three sections in CIEAT Exam.
• CIEAT Exam will be of 100 marks out of which Physics and Chemistry questions will carry the weightage of 25 marks each and Mathematics questions will carry the weightage of 50 marks.

CIEAT Exam Highlights Table

CIEAT Exam will be held in Online mode. CIEAT Exam Syllabus is based on the syllabus of Class XI and XII respectively.

• For all multiple choice questions, there will be four options out of which only one option is correct.
• One mark will be allotted to every correct answer and zero mark will be allotted for every incorrect answer.
• There is no negative marking involved in the evaluation of the answer sheets.

• Marking Scheme: No Negative marking scheme is involved. Every correct answer will be allotted one mark.

All the details of CIEAT Exam marking scheme are listed below

• The questions asked in the entrance examination are of Objective type. For each question, four options will be provided out of which one is the correct answer.
• Applicants are required to mark only one option.
• There will be 100 multiple choice questions asked in the examination.
• All the questions are compulsory and should be attempted by the applicants.
• Each question carries one marks.
• The evaluation scheme does not employ negative marking.
